Objective

As part of major renovation works on their large property in Surrey, the client wanted to move away from gas central heating to a more sustainable solution.

About the project

The Nicholls team undertook the GSHP design for the property and assessed the geological conditions below the site, where we had previously installed a system locally.

Using our experience we established that the 44kW GSHP required 8 boreholes drilled to 120 metres each.

The Nicholls team undertook all aspects of the installation from the initial site surveys and drilling, all the way through to client handover. The client benefits from a 7-year warranty and ongoing service contract.

After some research we were excited to appoint Nicholls to install a ground source heat pump system at our residential property in Surrey. We use a considerable amount of energy and wanted to remove the legacy gas boilers and move to a much more efficient system. Nicholls managed the whole process for us, borehole drilling and system commission.
