Servicing & Maintenance

Water treatment & quality

From private water supply compliance to commercial water quality management, we provide testing, treatment and ongoing monitoring for borehole water supplies.

Private water supply compliance

If your borehole water is used as a private water supply — for tenants, employees, customers or commercial food preparation — you have legal obligations under The Private Water Supplies (England) Regulations 2016.

We provide sampling, laboratory analysis and reporting to help you meet your obligations. Where treatment is needed, we design and install appropriate systems.

Regulation 8 & 9: If you supply water to anyone other than your own household, your local authority may require a risk assessment and regular testing. Non-compliance can result in enforcement action.

Treatment systems

We design and install treatment systems tailored to your water chemistry. Every borehole has different characteristics — there is no one-size-fits-all solution.

Sediment filtration

Removal of particulates, sand and suspended solids. Essential for pump protection and water clarity.

Iron & manganese removal

Oxidation and filtration systems for iron and manganese — common issues in borehole water across the South East.

UV disinfection

Chemical-free disinfection using ultraviolet light. Effective against bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms.

pH correction & dosing

Neutralisation systems for acidic water, protecting pipework and meeting drinking water standards.

Water softening

Ion exchange softening for hard water areas. Protects heating systems and improves water quality for domestic use.

Reverse osmosis

Advanced filtration for challenging water chemistry. Removes dissolved solids, nitrates and other contaminants.

Ongoing water quality monitoring

Water quality can change over time. We offer scheduled monitoring programmes to track your water chemistry, identify trends and catch issues early — before they affect your supply or compliance status.

Scheduled sampling

Regular visits at intervals suited to your risk profile

Laboratory analysis

Full suite testing through UKAS accredited laboratories

Trend reporting

Year-on-year comparison to identify emerging issues

Compliance support

Documentation for EA and local authority requirements
